In the state of California a person must possess a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) License. In order to obtain a license, one must first take a class. The Visalia Sportsmen's Association offers CCW classes to its members free of charge. The class is an 8-hour course in which tha applicant receives instruction in California firearms law, carry regulations and methods, etc. The class is taught by VSA member Wade Roberts. Classes are offered on the first Monday of the month, no need to call just show up. Also you should check the calendar just in case the date and time changes for that month.
