In the state of California a person must possess a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) License. In order to obtain a license, one must first take a class. The Visalia Sportsmen's Association offers CCW classes to its members. Class are 16-hours for New CCW;s or an 8-hour course for renewal in which the a applicant receives instruction in California firearms law, carry regulations and methods, etc. The class is taught by VSA member Albert Chan. Classes are offered Monthly check the site calendar for dates and times. Also you should check the calendar just in case the date and time changes for that month.
